Tip of the Day: Clean Spills Quick

The sooner a stain is attended to, the less likely it will be to stick around. Even spills that are clear or are the same color as the carpet can change color over time and become visible stains, so no matter what spills, time is of the essence. Spot cleaning starts with blotting a spill with tissues or paper towels, and absorbing as much liquid as possible now will go a long way. Use a cleaning solution only after you’ve soaked up as much of the spill as possible or you may accidentally make the spot larger and help it sink deeper into the carpet.
